HireNetworks names advisory board

Raleigh-based HireNetworks has named a five member advisory board.
The board has been developed to assist HireNetworks' executive management team by expanding the company's business affiliations as well as bringing insight and experience to the firm's operations. The board will consult on a variety of legal, financial and strategic business matters.
The five individuals named to HireNetworks' board include:
Marguerite Raaen, PhD., executive vice president of Cable & Wireless PLC;
David Russo, SPHR, chief executive officer and president of Empliant Inc;
Jeff Reid, executive director for entrepreneurship, Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill;
Kenneth R. Thornton, vice chairman, KnowledgeMax Inc;
Don Piper, chairman of Raleigh-based nTouch Research Corp.
