Tom Polak is a dedicated Recruiter with 7 years of staffing experience in contract, contract to hire, and permanent placement. He holds a Master's Degree in Education, a Bachelor's in Communications, an Associate's in Business Administration, and an Associate's in Computer Information Science. He started working at the age of 12 for a family wholesale business; enabling him to pay his own way through college. He has also worked for Hewlett Packard (International Technology Company), Randstad (International Staffing Firm), and COMSYS (now Experis, formerly National IT Staffing Firm).

Tom is a native of Schenectady, NY. He has also taken up residence in Albany, NY; Chicago, IL; Queens, NY; Long Island, NY; Beacon, NY; and Boston, MA. He relocated to Raleigh, NC in August 2010 and joined the team at HireNetworks. When Tom is not working or networking, Tom enjoys Crossfit and Bootcamp Fitness Training and competing in Fitness events around the Southeast.

Tom's specialty is Technical Recruiting but he also enjoys recruiting for Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and Engineering positions. Tom has a true passion for helping everyone find a job and that "makes getting out of bed in the morning a little bit easier".
