Morrisville, NC, November 16, 2010 – HireNetworks, provider of recruiting, staffing, executive search and human resources consulting services, announced today that Kendra Andrews was promoted to Director of Recruiting. Kendra will continue to lead the recruiting team and is now responsible for compliance, strategic direction of the recruiting process, and the support team.

Her role involves recruitment for contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire opportunities with a primary focus on IT but also finance and sales.
Kendra also has knowledge of human resources and hiring procedures as needed for new regulations, ensuring employees, employers and candidates are familiar with new and changing guidelines.
Before HireNetworks, Kendra spent thirteen years recruiting in the staffing industry. During this time she worked with companies such as IBM, GlaxoSmithKline, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and Credit Suisse. Kendra is a recruiting professional with extensive experience in staff augmentation. Her recruiting expertise has spanned large corporate enterprises, small early stage emerging technology companies, and government entities. The majority of her background has been for technology, but she is also experienced with clinical, scientific and engineering. Her diversity enabled her to gain knowledge across a broad spectrum of companies to successfully recruit at all levels within most industries.
Kendra has been involved with various industry organizations and has been on the board of the Triangle Technical Recruiters Association since 2005. She previously spent 5 years on the board of the Triangle Visual Basic / Access Users Group (now TRINUG). She is also a member of Soroptimist International. Kendra has a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics with an economics minor from North Carolina State University. She is married and resides in Wake Forest, NC.
